The team’s new base is an idyllic, rural location just 15 minutes from Bristol with excellent connections to M4 and M5, and strategically placed to cover the whole of the region.
Situated overlooking the Severn Estuary and with 9 acres of Nature Reserve on site, Baleen House offers the perfect habitat for our South West and South Wales team. The site has been developed with high environmental standards and values, aligning well with Ecus’ principles and company ethic.
Ecus has seen significant increased demand for our environmental consultancy and contracting services throughout the region over the past three years, and as part of our ambitious growth strategy, our new location gives us scope to develop and expand to meet the demands of the region.
This new base, coupled with the new Cardiff office opening on 1 November, provides the perfect platform to establish our new Carbon and Business Management Systems teams, as well as our more established areas of work.
The team is led by Regional Director Kit Hawkins, who has an enviable track record in the consenting and delivery of nationally significant infrastructure projects (NSIP), with a particular focus on offshore renewables. When opening the new office, Kit said:
