Based in the centre of Edinburgh, we are perfectly located within the heart of an iconic city and culture. Ecus has been established in Scotland since 2013.

We deliver environmental and sustainability consultancy services across the full geography of Scotland, working with a range of private and public sector clients across a variety of projects.

With the declaration of the climate emergency by the First Minister in April 2019 we have seen a significant shift in consideration of the overall impact of projects on the environment and the strong agenda on decarbonising the economy.

As well as traditional environmental consultancy services, our team provides services including Biodiversity Net Gain, habitat management, natural flood risk management, woodland management, and conservation planning to manage biodiversity resilience.

We have a strong focus on the natural and earth sciences and can provide services that blend key skills in ecology, landscape, heritage, and arboricultural disciplines with environmental planning and management to reimagine projects and benefit sites.
