As a Head of Habitats creation and restoration at Ecus, Iain is focused on delivering environmental projects that enhance natural ecosystems. His responsibilities include habitat creation, site management, invasive species control, wetland management, and providing CDM support for environmental projects. With significant experience working on historic structures in environmentally sensitive areas, he ensures that ecological integrity is maintained while managing restoration efforts and creating new ecosystems.
His previous roles have involved large-scale projects where balancing environmental management with the preservation of historic sites was key. He is particularly proud of his work on a wetland restoration project that revitalised biodiversity in historically sensitive regions for the RSPB and Wildlife Trusts. This combination of ecological and structural management makes him well-suited to help Ecus fulfil its mission.
He chose Ecus for its innovative approach to environmental sustainability and its focus on protecting ecosystems. He is excited to contribute to projects that prioritise both environmental and historical preservation, ensuring sustainable outcomes in every aspect.
